Triamvet Poultice Dressing TriamVet Poultice Dressing is a versatile, all-purpose animal dressing suitable for use on wounds, abscesses, sprains and bruised areas. It can be applied warm and wet, cool and wet, or dry, allowing the dressing method to be adapted to the animal’s needs and the area being treated. Each non-sterile poultice measures approximately 20cm x 40cm and can be cut to the required size before application. Its generous dimensions make it suitable for use around hooves, feet, legs and other appropriate areas on horses and livestock. The dressing contains tragacanth and boric acid and is designed to be held securely in position with a suitable cohesive bandage. Once applied, the poultice should be checked regularly and changed at least every 12 hours. TriamVet Poultice Dressings are individually wrapped for convenient storage and handling. They are available individually or as a box of 10, making them a practical addition to farm, stable, equestrian and animal first-aid supplies.
