Containing copper sulphate pentahydrate, it provides farmers with a straightforward solution for incorporating regular hoof hygiene into day-to-day herd and flock management. For effective use, the animals’ hooves should be washed thoroughly before entering the prepared footbath. Removing excess mud and organic matter first allows the solution to make better contact with the hoof and helps maintain the cleanliness of the footbath. TriamVet Copper Sulphate should be diluted at a rate of 0.5kg per 90 litres of water . Prepare only as directed on the product label and replace the solution when it becomes heavily contaminated.
