Part of the Milk Bar™ Ultra Range, this feeder is made using food contact approved antimicrobial materials, infused with silver compounds to help inhibit the growth of MRSA, Staphylococcus aureus and E.coli by up to 99.9%. Fitted with the trusted Milk Bar™ teat, the Milk Bar Ultra 1 Feeder encourages strong, natural suckling, helping calves produce saliva while feeding. Saliva plays an important role in calf health, supporting digestion and providing immune-supporting enzymes such as lactoferrin and lactoperoxidase. The slow-feeding teat uses an internal web and inverted nipple to help control milk flow, encouraging calves to feed in a way that closely reflects natural nursing. The Milk Bar Ultra 1 Feeder comes with Ezi-Lock hooks mounted externally on a stainless steel frame for secure positioning. Height can be adjusted using optional plates, sold separately, allowing the feeder to follow calf development as part of the “follow the teat” approach.
