It is suitable for applying to minor cuts, grazes and abrasions, helping to keep the affected area clean. The improved formulation contains 0.05% chlorhexidine gluconate, a widely used skin disinfectant effective against a broad range of bacteria. The purple-coloured formula makes it easy to see where the product has been applied and does not contain gentian violet.
